Supporting Art Programs
Arts Council Northeast strives to support the cultural arts in North Tarrant County. Through its grant program, offered yearly to schools, cities, libraries, municipalities and other nonprofit organizations, as well as individual artist, Arts Council Northeast is able to offer financial support for arts-related programs in North Tarrant County. Since 1997, Arts Council Northeast has partnered with the Texas Commission on the Arts in generating over $1.8 million in funds spent in support of the arts in North Tarrant County.
Raising money for the arts is an ongoing commitment and service that Arts Council Northeast provides through matching grants from the Texas Commission on the Arts and fundraising events that occur throughout the year. Grant money has helped fund The Cliburn’s Musical Awakenings program for Title 1 schools, Recovery Resources’ Teen L4 Project for At-risk youth, and Taps ‘n Tunes programs for seniors/veterans just to name a few.
This grant is supported in part by a grant from the Texas Commission on the Arts.
