Founded in 1975 as the Trinity Arts Foundation, Arts Council Northeast evolved from the Trinity Arts Guild. Arts Council Northeast formally received its nonprofit status in 1978, and was recognized by the Texas Commission on the Arts (TCA) in 1997 as the official Arts Council of Northeast Tarrant County (ArtsNET). With the addition of the City of Saginaw in 2004, we were recognized by the TCA as the arts council representing north Tarrant County and southern Denton County.
Volunteer
We are all given many gifts in life. Each gift has the power to change us、enrich us, and challenge us to stretch our skills and abilities. For me,music, playing piano, performing organ recitals, and singing in choir groups has been my artistic contribution through the years. My professional experience in management and leadership roles has lead to participation in numerous volunteer programs in the community.
I see this role as an opportunity to reach out and mentor young local artists who have “Caught the art bug!“

Meg is THRILLED to pay homage to her roots by serving on the board that supported her journey to the stage from a young age. As a child, Meg spent her summers at the Trinity Arts Summer College and evenings as a performer at ONSTAGE. After graduating with honors from L.D.Bell HIgh School, Meg received her B.F.A. in Musical Theatre at Texas State in San Marcos, and traveled with their award-winning chorale to perform at Carnegie Hall in New York City. Upon graduation, Meg's professional career took flight with an internship at Playhouse on the Square in Memphis, TN, leading to a position as an Associate Company member, performing in multiple plays and musicals each season. She explored the sights, sounds and entertainment mecca of NYC before returning to Texas where she taught acting and musical theatre classes at the Artisan Center Theatre. She joined the board of ArtsNET in 2020 and has thoroughly enjoyed working with this talented team to serve local communities through the love of art, and is excited about all our future endeavors!
